Key Responsibilities - Assist in monitoring and maintaining server hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and basic applications. - Perform routine tasks such as system updates, patch management, and backups under supervision. - Troubleshoot basic server and system issues, escalating complex problems to senior team members. - Support the setup and configuration of servers and virtual environments (e.g., VMware) - Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps for team reference. - Respond to technical support tickets related to server or system issues, ensuring timely resolution. - Participate in team projects to improve system performance and infrastructure efficiency. - Join on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed, with guidance from senior staff. Qualifications - Diploma or higher holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - 1-2 years of experience in server/system administration or IT support (internships or entry-level roles count). - Basic knowledge of operating systems such as Windows Server or Linux - Familiarity with networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). - Exposure to scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) is a plus. - Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. - Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
