📌 Job Overview / 職位概述
We are seeking an experienced and leadership-driven MEP Manager to lead and oversee all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building services works for our major construction project in Macau. The successful candidate will hold overall accountability for the strategic planning, budget management, technical excellence, progress control, and quality assurance of all MEP works. You will act as the key representative for MEP matters, leading a team of coordinators/engineers and liaising with top-tier clients, consultants, and relevant Macau authorities to guarantee successful project completion and handover.

📋 Key Responsibilities / 主要職責

• Strategic Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the on-site MEP engineering and coordination team; assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Technical Supervision & Design Review: Oversee the review and optimization of comprehensive MEP shop drawings, technical submittals, and specifications; steer complex clash-checking (BIM/AutoCAD) processes to eliminate design bottlenecks early.
• Budget & Contract Management: Monitor MEP project costs, evaluate variation orders (VOs), manage sub-contractor claims, and control budgets to maximize project profitability.
• Progress & Schedule Driving: Formulate master MEP construction schedules; proactively identify potential critical-path delays, implement robust recovery plans, and report directly to Project Directors/Senior Management.
• High-Level Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for MEP matters with clients, lead consultants, main contractors, and Macau statutory authorities (e.g., DSAT, DSSCU, CEM, Macao Water) to secure necessary approvals and inspections.
• Quality Assurance & Safety Governance: Establish and enforce rigorous MEP quality control (QA/QC) standards and safety protocols on-site, ensuring strict compliance with Macau construction laws and international best practices.
• Testing, Commissioning (T&C) & Handover: Formulate and oversee the execution of comprehensive MEP Testing and Commissioning (T&C) plans; manage the statutory inspections, defect rectifications, and final handover documentation.

• Education: Degree / Bachelor’s degree or above in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of MEP project management experience in building construction projects. Assistant MEP Manager role will be considered for candidates with less experience.
• Technical Mastery: Excellent capabilities in reading architectural/structural/MEP drawings, resolving major technical discrepancies, and managing modern MEP systems (HVAC, ELV, Fire Services, FS/PD).
• Software Literacy: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project;
• Communication & Language: Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Fluent in written and spoken English and Cantonese
