Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Fit Out Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager to lead interior fit out, renovation and M&E finishing projects across Macau, specializing in commercial, hotel and casino developments. Responsibilities span the full project lifecycle, covering pre construction planning, shop drawing coordination, material procurement and approval, on site construction supervision, programme and cost control, quality assurance, and final project handover. This role delivers high end commercial and hotel fit out works, with accountability for completing all projects on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with client design specifications, industry finish standards and Macau construction safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the on-site Fit-Out team and overall management of interior fit-out, renovation, finishing and associated M&E adaptation works for construction projects.
• Review design drawings, shop drawings, material samples and technical submittals; coordinate between architectural finishing, MEP systems and site construction to eliminate clashes and construction conflicts.
• Develop detailed fit-out construction schedules, weekly/monthly work programmes and manpower allocation plans; monitor site progress closely, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to meet project milestones.
• Control project budget, variation orders, site works quantification and progress claim submissions; optimize construction methods to control project cost effectively.
• Strictly manage the team on-site for finishing quality, workmanship standards and construction safety; ensure all fit-out works comply with contract specifications, design intent and Macau site safety regulations.
• Liaise and coordinate with clients, design consultants, interior designers, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and site supervisory teams to resolve daily technical and site issues.
• Organize regular site coordination meetings, progress meetings and quality inspections; prepare meeting minutes, weekly/monthly progress reports and all project closing documents.
• Manage the team to supervise fit-out subcontractors and site workers, monitor work performance, standardize site workflow and ensure disciplined site operation.
• Follow up material delivery, on-site installation inspection, interim acceptance, final completion, defect rectification and project handover & commissioning.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Interior Design, Construction Management, Building Services, Civil Engineering or related disciplines.
• Minimum 8 years solid working experience in commercial / hotel fit-out project management; Assistant Project Manager role will be considered for candidates with less experience.
• Familiar with full fit-out project procedures including sample approval, shop drawing submission, material inspection, finishing workmanship control and project handover in Macau projects.
• In-depth knowledge of interior finishing works, joinery, ceiling & partition systems, flooring, facade finishing and M&E coordination for fit-out projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and project scheduling tools; capable of independently preparing project programmes, technical reports and progress claims.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese; possess strong negotiation, stakeholder coordination and on-site problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, rigorous project control ability and high pressure tolerance; capable of independently managing full-cycle fit-out projects.
