The challenge is to:
• To understand customers’ needs and formulate the corresponding range, space, buying and pricing strategies for the designated categories to maximize customers’ satisfaction and thus category performance;
• To drive change, spur new initiatives and follow through the implementation of the business plans with key stakeholders;
• To leverage market data, analysis and category insights to identify business opportunities and enable a sustainable growth of the Company;
• To cultivate strategic partnerships with suppliers and employ negotiation tactics to optimize terms;
• To initiate projects to improve merchandising processes and ensure the team to work effectively and transparently;
• To lead, coach and nurture team members to drive category management excellence

Do you have experience in FMCG?
• Degree holder in business, purchasing or related discipline;
• Minimum 12 years of solid experience in retail & FMCG industry;
• A self-motivated person with the ability to think strategically with a high level of category and customer focus;
• A proven ability to plan and deliver, with a result focus across multiple projects;
• Strong planning and analytical skills with an openness to change;
• Good communication skills and a good command of both English and Chinese;
• A good team player with strong leadership and influencing skills
