We are member of Dah Chong Hong Holdings Hong Kong, is an Asia-based integrated market management provider specializing in healthcare. Offering comprehensive commercial and logistics solutions, Four Star partners with the world’s leading healthcare companies to distribute pharmaceuticals, medical devices, surgical equipment, diagnostics and OTC products for 500 brands into hospitals, pharmacies and specialty stores in Macau. Manager– Human Resources
Role Summary
This role partners with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals, drive workforce planning, and support organizational effectiveness. It oversees recruitment, performance management, and training initiatives, ensures compliance with local employment regulations, and promotes positive employee relations through data-driven insights and practical HR solutions. It contributes to corporate HR alignment through local market insights and leverages HR data to guide decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and drive strategic workforce planning to improve productivity, streamline structures, and enhance performance
Support line managers in addressing organizational, people, and change-related matters with practical, compliant, and people-focused solutions
Ensure compliance with Macau’s employment laws and labour import regulations
Analyze and interpret HR data (e.g., compensation, job levels, attrition) to support strategic decision-making and deliver proactive, data-driven solutions.
Assist Corporate HR in understanding the local market landscape and contribute to meaningful exercises that align regional insights with broader corporate objectives.
Facilitate conflict resolution and promote positive employee relations to strengthen morale and reduce turnover
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for key talent, including coordination of non-local labour processes
Support the implementation of performance management and appraisal processes by coordinating timelines, assisting with documentation, and guiding line managers through evaluation procedures. Contribute to leadership development initiatives by identifying training needs and facilitating relevant programs
Coordinate learning activities and monitor effectiveness to ensure training programs meet business needs and support employee growth
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
At least 7 years of HR experience, including management roles; healthcare or regulated industry background preferred
Experience in organizational design and change management is a strong asset
Familiarity with staff training and development is a plus
Proven ability to manage import labour processes in line with local regulations
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
Candidates with extensive experience and leadership may be considered for Senior HR Manager
