The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) is currently looking to fill the following vacancy in the School of Education (SED): Practicum Supervisor - School of Education (Ref. No.: USJ25SED-004) Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Prepare documentation and coordinate activities related to teaching practice arrangements; 2. Manage inquiries from prospective and current students regarding practicum; 3. Collaborate closely with local Macao schools to arrange teaching practice for students; 4. Engage actively with students and colleagues for teaching practice arrangement and related activities; 5. Develop tools, resources, or guides to improve the student’s practicum experience; 6. Supervise and teach modules related to teaching practicum, including teaching practice portfolio writing; 7. Provide administrative support to the School of Education, and assist with academic events. Requirements: 1. Master’s degree or above, preferably in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Business Administration, Health Sciences, or a relevant practicum field; 2. Proven teaching experience in local Macao schools; 3. Expertise in practicum supervision, including knowledge of current industry standards and practices; 4. Ability to collaborate effectively with school, staff and students in a diverse, multicultural environment; 5. Strong cultural sensitivity and skill in engaging students from various backgrounds; 6. Empathy and supportive approach to assist students facing challenges; 7. Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities; 8. Innovative problem-solving skills and adaptability to a dynamic practicum environment; 9. Proficient in English and Chinese; 10. Willing to work on flexible schedule; 11. Macao ID card holder.
