To cope with our rapid growth, we are looking for high caliber individual for the following position:

Accounting Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee company's financial records, direct accounting staff, and ensure compliance with relevant reporting standards
• Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage and mentor the accounting team; delegate tasks and assess performance
• Coordinate budgeting process, statutory audit and other audit assignments as assigned by the management
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and all compliance requirements are met
• Review and implement effective financial controls and procedures
• Exercise budgetary control, participate in budgeting and forecasting, prepare monthly management reports for management to review
• Assist in business analysis and prepare financial models for new sales operation plans
• Performs all kinds of financial and management reporting in a timely and accurate manner. Develop and prepare reports, analysis and forecast on routine and/or ad-hoc basis to meet the requirement of the management
• Work closely with Headquarters Finance Team to ensure all accounting processes comply with the policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree holder or above in Accounting/ Finance or business related disciplines, holder of a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred
• 15+ years’ accounting experience with at least 8 years’ accounting experience in a senior-level role in retail industry will be an advantage
• Knowledge of accounting, financial systems/ process and control, hands on experience in ERP system, preferably Oracle
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, financial modeling)
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Strong leadership skills and excellent in written and verbal communications skills
• Detail-minded with strong analytical and numerical skills
