Assistant Director of Sales, Sales & Marketing

Team Management:
• Lead the Sales Team, establish individual sales targets and provide guidance, to achieve hotel business & revenue goals.
• Ensure the Sales Team possess full comprehension of the sales strategies and oversee its effective implementation across the hotel.
• Coach, mentor and provide training to elevate team performance, to ensure the adherence to regulatory requirements and service standards; Establish performance and developmental targets for team members, recognizing and rewarding top achievers.
• Identify opportunities for improvement within the overall hotel sales performance, fostering close collaboration with other departments to drive continuous optimization.
• Enhance the hotel’s profile and brand reputation through strategic visibility initiatives.

Sales Activities Management:
• Monitor and evaluate market dynamics and trends, identify competitive advantages, analyze market opportunities, to establish concrete sales objectives and formulate sales strategies and action plans for a greater market share.
• Develop annual planning for sales revenue and operational budgets, monitor the implementation, and provide regular reviews for necessary timely adjustment.
• Drive revenue growth and staff sales performance within budgetary constraints to optimize profitability.
• Lead the sales plans execution, drive upselling and ensure accurate revenue forecasting to significantly increase occupancy rates, elevate average daily rate (ADR), boost business volumes of F&B and banquet sales, etc., for maximum profitability and full accountability for sales performance.
• Formulate remedial actions and improvement plan to address variances between projected and actual sales performance.
• Support the operational aspects of the sales, including proposal writing, contract drafting, and client correspondence, etc.
• Prepare monthly performance reports and sales forecasts to analyze current and emerging market trends.

Customer Relationship:
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, corporate clients, and high-value prospects to drive loyalty and repeat business.
• Manage and nurture relationships with travel industry partners, such as tour operators, wholesalers, and luxury travel advisors, etc., to expand market reach.
• Uphold the brand’s reputation by ensuring all client interactions reflect the hotel’s commitment to service excellence and hospitality standards.
• Address escalated client concerns or contract negotiations personally to secure long-term partnerships and protect the hotel’s interests.

Requirement:
• Minimum 8 years of experience inclusive of at least 6 years in management role in Macau hospitality industry.
• Experienced in working with travel industry partners, familiar with the local market and industry trends.
• Bachelor degree or above, major in Sales & Marketing, Hospitality & Tourism Management or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, proficient in project management.
• A responsible self-starter who is highly driven, multi-tasking under pressure and adaptable to change.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Macau resident only
