Job Title: Operation Assistant Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Assistant Operations Manager to join our team and support the operations of our skincare/haircare brands. As the Assistant Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our operations, from supply chain management to inventory control. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and deliver exceptional customer service. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for the beauty industry and a strong background in operations management.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the skincare/haircare brands, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Operations to develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize processes and improve overall performance.
  • Manage and monitor the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics, to ensure uninterrupted product availability and timely deliveries.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, such as production, marketing, and sales, to align operational activities and support their objectives.
  • Conduct regular analysis of operational data to identify areas of improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and process optimisation.
  • Assist in developing and managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in managing and resolving operational issues, including customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations, in a timely and effective manner.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements related to skincare/haircare products to inform operational decision-making.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications or additional qualifications would be an advantage.
  • Proven experience 5 years or above in operations management, preferably in the skincare/haircare/fashion industry or a related field. Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Retail Operations Executive / Operations Assistant.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders at various levels.
  • Proficiency in using operations management software or tools. Experience with ERP systems would be advantageous.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all operational activities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Passion for the skincare/haircare industry and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
