Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related disciplines.
• ACCA, CPA, or other professional qualifications are an advantage.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting or financial reporting experience, preferably in banking, financial services, or a regulated environment.
• Sound knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; experience with SQL, ERP systems, or analytics tools is a plus.
• Good analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Cantonese. Portuguese is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and supervise month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and regulatory submissions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze financial results and explain variances to management.
• Coordinate with auditors, regulators, and internal departments on reporting matters.
• Support process improvements, system enhancements, and ad hoc assignments.
