Senior Manager - HRIS

POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the VP – HRIS, the Senior Manager – Human Resources Information Systems (SM – HRIS) will play a key role in driving the HR Technology roadmap and enhancing end-to-end HR processes. The role requires a strong foundation in SAP HCM, particularly SuccessFactors, with hands-on experience in system implementation, configuration, and solution design.
The incumbent will lead assigned HR technology initiatives from scoping and strategy through development, testing, and deployment. This includes shaping functional requirements, designing integrated solutions, and ensuring successful adoption across the organization. A critical part of the role is close collaboration with IS&T and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver cohesive, efficient, and user-centric HR systems while upholding data governance and process integrity.
The Senior Manager – HRIS is expected to bring deep expertise across project management methodologies, SAP technologies, emerging HR tech trends, and modern application architectures relevant to HCM ecosystems. They will be accountable for overall project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and delivery of high‑quality solutions aligned with business needs.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Evaluate and prioritize System Change Requests (SCRs) by analyzing business justification, assessing feasibility within SAP HCM and SuccessFactors, and recommending sound, benefit driven solutions.
• Lead and manage HRIS SuccessFactors related projects—from defining scope, KPIs, and outcomes through execution, testing, deployment, and benefits realization—ensuring strong delivery across SuccessFactors modules and SAP HCM components.
• Drive HR automation and digitalization initiatives, advising on innovative technology options (e.g., SuccessFactors configuration, SAP HCM enhancements, RPA) in partnership with IS&T to improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
• Identify and execute system enhancements by streamlining and integrating processes, optimizing configuration within SuccessFactors, automating core HR workflows, and collaborating with IS&T for robust technical delivery.
• Serve as Portfolio Manager for HRIS, providing subject matter expertise on SAP HCM and SuccessFactors functional design; lead requirements gathering, solution design, configuration reviews, UAT planning, change management, and deployment for HR&A users.
• Support the long term HRIS strategy, evaluating new SAP/SuccessFactors capabilities, scalability needs, and emerging technologies to enable business growth and align with the HR Technology roadmap.
• Build strong stakeholder partnerships, ensuring clear communication and alignment on process changes, system impacts, and enhancement plans across HR&A, IS&T, and external vendors.
• Establish and maintain HRIS governance by developing standardized procedures, data structures, configuration documentation, and user security models aligned with SAP/SuccessFactors best practices.
• Develop and maintain User Access Matrix, security roles, system configuration records, and data governance frameworks across SAP HCM and SuccessFactors modules.
• Deliver training and knowledge sharing to HR&A users on system functionality, new features, and technology adoption to strengthen HR technology capability in the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned, supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence across the HR technology ecosystem.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in HRIS/IT related role with SuccessFactors configuration knowledge
• Strong working knowledge and configuration experience of SAP SuccessFactors Solutio. Experience in SuccessFactors Recruitment, Onboarding, PMGM, Employee Central, Reporting is required.
• Strong knowledge in other technology solutions or programming like SQL, Python / RPA, Mobile applications
• Strong knowledge of Role-based Permission and understanding of system and data governance
• Strong Strategic Thinking, Conflict Management, Negotiation and Ananlytical & Problem-Solving skills;
• Strong level knowledge of the Project Management including timing, progress update
• Strong verbal and written communications skills in English and Cantonese. Strong presentation skills and able to articulate key highlights for senior management, escalate issues and provide suggestions to mitigate risks
• Ability to translate business strategy and business requirements into functional requirements;
• Ability to work independently in reviewing issues, collect user requirement, provide solution strategy and timeline, execute in a timely manner with regular progress update
• Ability to manage/coordinate with the development and implementation teams to meet hard deadlines;
•Detail and process-oriented leader to effectively lead cross functional project teams
• Customer service oriented and can work effectively with IT partners, non-technical customers to understand user needs, translate needs into technical process and configuration requirements
