The Bank of East Asia, Limited is the largest independent local bank in Hong Kong. To cope with the business operation in Macau, we are now seeking high calibre persons to take up the following positions in BEA Macau Branch.

Job Duties:

Manage compliance risk of the Bank
Develop, review and enforce AML/CFT and regulatory compliance related policies and guidelines to incorporate both local regulatory requirements and the Bank Group’s standards
Understand the Bank’s business and operations, and provide advice, interpretation and recommendation on existing and new regulatory compliance requirements
Keep track on development and changes on AML/CFT and regulatory compliance related policies and guidelines and conduct gap analysis if necessary
Conduct regular compliance examinations to ensure the business and operations are in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, policies and guidelines
Assist in liaising with regulators and provide assistance to regulatory authorities and external auditors during their on-site review as required
Work closely with internal stakeholders and provide compliance advice on relevant AML/CFT and regulatory compliance related matters to all business and operation units
Develops and conducts internal trainings on all compliance issues to enhance the staffs’ compliance consciousness
Undertake ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements:

University graduate, preferably in Business Administration, Business Law, Economics, Accounting or related disciplines;
Minimum 4 years banking experience in compliance, legal, audit or risk management
Sound knowledge of the relevant laws and regulators pertinent to the bank (i.e. AML/CFT, FATCA, CRS and personal data protection etc.)
Good report writing and analytical skills
Mature, independent and detail minded
Able to exercise judgment, work under pressure and liaise effectively with business and supporting units
Good communication, interpersonal and organization skills. Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
Good command of PC skills and sound knowledge of application software such as MS Excel
CAMS designation or AAMLP is preferred
