Position Summary Reporting to the Vice President - Construction Monitoring & Coordination, the incumbent will assist senior project manager / project manager in coordinating the main contractor and various trade contractors / suppliers, commenting shop drawing & material submisison schedule, monitoring programs and progress, arranging handover inspections with Ops and relevant business units Primary Responsibility • Assist in monitoring and coordinating the main contractor / various trade contractors & suppliers for works completion according to specified requirements and approved working program • Assist in coordinating the resident team for site works monitoring • Assist in reviewing the contractors’ programs and monitor the daily progress for comparison of ahead or behind schedule • Assist in coordinating the resident team for carrying out regular check on the workmanship of the contractors • Assist in commenting on method statements / temporary works design/ safety plan, etc. • Communicate closely with domestic design team on design issues which may incur implications • Assist in monitoring the contractors’ implementation of safety plans • Attend meetings / workshops / site inspections / factory visits on regular and ahhoc basis • Verify daily report submitted from the contractors (e.g., manpower, plants, progress, material on-site, etc.) • Assist in coordinating Ops and business units for handover inspections • Assist in preparing and uploading handover endorsement form for record • Coordinate with the contractors for submission of Permit to Work (PTW) for carrying ouy defect rectification • Prepare handover documents such as as-built drawings, warranties, certificates, O&M manual, etc. • Attend meetings with Ops and business units to review area handover status & document files received, etc.r> Reporting to the Vice President - Construction Monitoring & Coordination, the incumbent will assist senior project manager / project manager in coordinating the main contractor and various trade contractors / suppliers, commenting shop drawing & material submisison schedule, monitoring programs and progress, arranging handover inspections with Ops and relevant business units Requirements • High diploma or Degree holder in Construction management, Civil & Structure, Building, or Architecture • Minimum 8 years of experience in building construction, structural alternations, and fitout works • Minimum 5 years of experience as assistant construction manager in developer ot contractor • Experience in managing large scale fitting out works for hotels, restaurants or casinos is preferable • Good command of writing and specking English, Cantonese and Mandarin • Good application / operation skills in BIM, AutoCAD, MS Office, Photoshop, and other relative computing software • The candidate must demonstrate good communication and leadership skills
