General Duties and Responsibilities 1. Maintenance and Support o Handle installation and technical support for all computers, printers, telecommunications and other IT&T peripherals. o Handle hotel guest technology related inquiry and assistance. o Communicate with support vendor regarding the hardware repair and maintenance, replacements (RMA). o Coordinate and monitor contractors on performing the preventative maintenance program of all IT&T related. o Maintain and manage list of support issues and coordinate with the vendor or service provider for an immediate resolution. 2. Administration o Perform routine and operational tasks. o Manage IT&T inventory with the maintenance of the existing systems, including the warranty expiration. o Organize all documents, manuals, master software, spares, etc. in such a way that they are secure but readily available. o Maintain and update documentation and manuals of all computer technology up to date and in good order. o Maintain a log of backups and locations of all media stored in the offsite backup storage. 3. Security o Provide adequate physical security for hardware and related items. o Ensure that access to hotel systems and technology are protected from unauthorized access. o Anti-virus software is installed, kept up to date, and operational so as to protect the hotel / office systems. o Ensure that the hotel is compliant with all privacy and other relevant legislation pertaining to use and storage of computer based information.
