The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) is currently looking to fill the following vacancy in the School of Education (SED): Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Assistant Professor (Ref. No.: SED-L/AP82) Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Promote and support the faculty’s objectives centered on excellence in teaching and learning through high-quality curriculum planning, instruction, and service; 2. Assess and evaluate students’ coursework, providing constructive and clear feedback on academic performance; 3. Mentor and advise students on academic progress and career development; 4. Engage actively in faculty activities, including meetings, committees, and task forces; 5. Supervise undergraduate and graduate internships and research work; 6. Develop and deliver professional development courses for teachers; 7. Support actively the work of faculty centers, including the Teachers’ Professional Development Centre and the Domingos Lam Centre for Research in Education; 8. Conduct research and publish findings in journals, books and conference proceedings; 9. Participate in research seminars, conferences and symposiums; 10. Write research proposals, seek research funding and collaborate with colleagues on research projects; 11. Assist with student recruitment and selection, as well as programme reviews and revisions; 12. Develop and update programme handbooks, forms, documents, and printed materials; 13. Participate in academic programme and community events; 14. Maintain regular office hours to advise and assist students. Requirements: 1. Master's or PhD degree in Education, with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Mathematics, STEM education, or Inclusive and Special Needs Education; 2. Proven teaching experience in higher education and good research track record; 3. Strong record of publications in peer-reviewed journals; 4. Ability to collaborate effectively with school, staff and students in a diverse, multicultural environment, as well as other tertiary and non-tertiary institutions; 5. Proficient in English and Chinese; 6. Willing to work on flexible schedule; 7. Macao ID holder is preferable.
