Duties and Responsibilities 1. Major responsibilities • Support company’s philosophy and company culture through the use of Pillars of Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement. • To ensure that Mandarin Oriental, Macau’s grooming and appearance standards are implemented and maintained to reflect an image of professionalism and care. • To carry out annual appraisals and regular feedback on development on all colleagues using the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Performance and Development System PROFILE. • Seek and contact new potential commercial accounts through direct enquiries, sales leads and sales blitz follow-up. • Responsible for room night, room revenue and event revenue production from allocated accounts and development of new accounts. • Follow up the events logistics, ensure event communications and arrangements are smooth and in Mandarin Oriental standard. • Monitor own corporate accounts’ monthly production and attend monthly corporate account review meetings. • Update all Delphi Sales and Catering account and contact profiles to maintain a proper profile of all corporate accounts. • Attend daily sales briefings, weekly sales meetings and bi-weekly business development meeting. • Follow up on all sales leads. • Participate in familiarization visits and entertain as and when required. • Conduct on site inspections for potential clients. • Participate in any projects as and when assigned by the direct superior. • Monitor current market trends and supply competitor activity information to the DOS. • Participate in overseas sales trips and, when required, complete all sales report within one week of the trip. • Prepare weekly sales call report. • Distribute seasonal gifts to clients. • Perform any other reasonable tasks as required by the department head.
