Payroll Assistant Manager

 Applicants must hold a Macau ID due to work permit restriction.

About the role
The Payroll Assistant Manager will assist in overseeing payroll related daily operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

What you will do

• Review, verify and process payroll data for preparation of salary
• Monitor payroll procedures and practices to ensure adherence to all applicable laws and established guidelines
• Review payroll data for accuracy, resolving discrepancies as necessary
• Maintain employee records, ensuring all changes are accurately reflected in the payroll system
• Conduct self in a professional manner at all times and maintain strict confidentiality of all payroll information
• Assist with audits and compliance-related inquiries
• Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries

What you bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing, with experience in the hotel industry considered a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
