Business Analyst - Technology

Responsibilities:

Act as the Subject Matter Expert of application domains to understand business requirements, translate them into functional specifications/user stories, and provide advice on how to design, configure and customize respective software to meet the business requirements
Work with counterparts of OCBC Group and HK, as well as Macau business units, to deliver solution documents for significant projects
Help / guide users to develop user requirements
Prepare / review business papers for management approval
Work and integrate with Project Office & IT teams to develop project solutions
Participate in business analysis phase in Solution and / or Execution phase of project roll-out
Identify functional impacts to front-to-back systems due to the gathered business and regulatory requirements
Analyse the business requirements to determine technology needs
Recommend efficient and cost-effective technological solutions
Develop project solutions by creating process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to solution designers and developers and/or the project team
Document fact-findings and results, design new process for delighted customer experience (CX) and specify system changes
Ensure the IT security control and regulatory compliance requirement are included in the related system enhancements and projects
Coordinate software package / vendor evaluation, supports the preparation of product / vendor evaluation reports and vendor management activities
Support users in preparing training materials and user manuals
Other similar support activities as required

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above
Certificate of PMP or relevant qualification is desired
At least 10+ years IT experience with proven IT projects management experience in banking
Have IT or management knowledge and skills in banking applications and technology initiatives
Experience in dealing with regulators, manage technology & business parties highly desired
Able to liaise with multiple stakeholders as well as relevant Group teams to develop widely accepted and effective solutions
Strong knowledge and skills in at least one or more banking applications.
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
