  • 新八佰伴成立於一九九七年,前身為日本八佰伴集團所擁有之八佰伴日式百貨公司,其後由澳門旅遊娛樂有限公司之Panda Sociedade de Gestao de Investimentos Limitada 所收購並於一九九七年底將其重新命名為新八佰伴。自此本公司之貨品種類擴展至世界各地之高級產品。

    新八佰伴大樓位於澳門蘇亞利斯博士大馬路90號,於2008年8月8日正式啟用,只需步行幾分鐘即可到達商業區的中心地帶。新八佰伴共分十層,並附設一個220個車位的地庫停車場,擁有員工約一千人。各層主題鮮明,包括化妝品、男女時裝、皮鞋、手袋、童裝、家庭用品、電器、美食廣場及超級市場等等,種類包羅萬有。除此之外,新八佰伴不單在百貨公司內經營,還在路氹經營不同品牌的零售店,如濠尚、上葡京等。

Senior Manager of Cosmetic Department

To cope with our rapid growth, we are looking for high caliber individual for the following position:

Senior Manager of Cosmetic Department

Position Summary:

  • Excellent people management skills with more than 8 years management experience in international cosmetic brands and experience in managing a sizeable team in Macau. Understanding of China’s retail market is a plus
  • Able to build and sustain strategic partnerships with brands and internal teams to improve efficiency and exceed sales and profit targets
  • Experience in working with business partners and internal teams to identify key success factors, formulate and implement action plan to make continuous improvement
  • Able to devote to oversee the daily operations in Cosmetic department or similar business environment.
  • Enthusiastic in maintaining a high level of service standard and excellent customer experience


RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Business, Sales, P&L Performance:

  • Drive department sales growth and achieve revenue and profitability (P&L) targets
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance; identify trends and implement improvement actions
  • Prepare regular performance reports (weekly/monthly) with actionable insights
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and target setting with management and brand partners
  • Assist the Director and lead the team to analyze sales trends, market dynamics and identify potential brands for business development

2.Retail Operations and People Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of the cosmetics floor to ensure smooth execution
  • Build good strategic relationship, lead and drive the people to maintain high standards in store environment, visual merchandising, and operational compliance
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and resolve operational issues in a timely manner

3.Brand Partner Management:

  • Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with brand principals, counter managers and sales staff
  • Conduct regular business reviews on sales, performance, improvement plans, implementation and results
  • Ensure compliance with store policies, and service standards
  • Collaborate with brand partners on promotional campaigns, product launches, and in-store events
  • Drive participation in marketing initiatives to enhance traffic and conversion
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are in compliance with brands’ principals standards


REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Retail Management or related discipline

Experience:

  • Minimum 12 years of retail experience, with at least 8 years in a managerial role
  • Strong background in cosmetics, beauty or department store environment
  • Experience in concession / brand-operated (tenant) model highly preferred
  • Proven track record in sales management, business development, and operations

Skill Sets:

  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L, sales drivers, and retail KPIs
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and influence brand partners
  • Operational Excellence: Good knowledge of retail operations, SOPs, and compliance
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret sales data and drive actionable insights
  • Customer Focus: Strong understanding of customer experience in beauty retail
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Languages: Fluent in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin preferred)
