The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) is currently looking to fill the following vacancy in the Office for Student and Alumni Affairs (OSAA): Counsellor (Ref. No.: USJ25OSAA-002) Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Coordinate the University’s psychological counselling service; 2. Provide psychological counselling to students in need; 3. Conduct crisis intervention and referrals, and organise multiparty meetings when necessary; 4. Develop plans and organise activities to improve the mental health of students and enhance their knowledge of help-seeking methods; 5. Develop and maintain the counselling webpage; 6. Handle the overall work of psychological testing for new students; 7. Assist in organising campus activities for students and provide coaching to student ambassadors to organise campus activities; 8. Introduce medical institutions and facilities in Macau to students in need, and guide them to suitable hospitals or clinics for medical treatment; 9. Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Head of Office; 10. Work outside office hours if necessary. Requirements: 1. Bachelor in Psychology and Master or post-graduated in counselling or other related area of Psychology; 2. At least 3 years of counselling experience under professional supervision; 3. Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in the field of psychological counselling; 4. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; 5. Sound knowledge of local services in psychology, counselling and mental health provided by both private and public sectors; 6. Able to work in a multicultural environment; 7. Macao ID holder.
