JOB SUMMARY 1. Manages sales efforts for the hotel, including local corporate and social catering. 2. Works collaboratively with all sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated. 3. Responds to incoming catering opportunities for the hotel. 4. Identifies, qualifies and solicits new catering business to achieve personal and hotel revenue goals. 5. Understands the overall market and negotiate and create selling abilities. 6. Maximize revenue by up-selling packages. 7. Manages catering sales revenue and operation budgets and provides forecast reports. 8. Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked. 9. Ensures successful performance by increasing revenues, controlling expenses. 10. Take care of the special requests and queries that come from the guests 11. Monitor the food and beverages section efficiently as a banquet service manager. Education and Experience High school diploma or above Prior experience working as a banquet manager or assistant banquet manager in the hotel industry In-depth understanding of the hospitality industry and its common practices Decision-making skills and the ability to work flexible
