Sales & Marketing Manager / Assistant Sales & Marketing Manager
Job Description:
The Sales & Marketing Manager / Assistant Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to promote products or services and achieve revenue targets. Key responsibilities include managing the sales team, conducting market research, and analyzing customer trends to identify opportunities for growth. The manager also oversees marketing campaigns, coordinates promotional activities, and builds relationships with clients and partners. Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role, along with a solid understanding of sales processes and marketing techniques.
Responsibilities:
a. Sales Support:
1) Assist in developing and executing sales plans to achieve revenue targets for rooms, events, F&B and other hotel services
2) Identify potential business opportunities and support the Senior Sales & Marketing Manager in expanding the hotel’s customer base
3) Conduct market research and competitor analysis to provide insights for strategy adjustments
b. Client Relationship Management:
1) Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, and tour operators
2) Assist in organizing sales calls, presentations, and site inspections to promote the hotel’s facilities and services
3) Support the negotiation of contracts and agreements with clients
c. Marketing Campaign Assistance:
1) Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns across digital, social media, print, and other channels
2) Assist in creating promotional materials, such as brochures, advertisements, and online content
3) Help manage the hotel’s online presence, including the website, social media platforms, and online travel agencies (OTAs)
4) Proofread all marketing collaterals before publishment to ensure accuracy and consistency
d. Revenue Management Support:
1) Work with the revenue management team to analyze sales data and market trends
2) Assist in preparing regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management
e. Event and Group Sales Support:
1) Promote the hotel as a venue for meetings, conferences, and other events
2) Coordinate with the events team to ensure smooth execution of group bookings and events
f. Administrative Duties:
1) Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contracts
2) Handle inquiries and provide information to potential clients
3) Assist in organizing sales and marketing events, such as trade shows and promotional activities
g. Team Collaboration:
1) Work closely with the Senior Sales & Marketing Manager and other team members to achieve departmental goals
2) Provide support and guidance to junior staff members as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in sales and marketing, with 3 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
- Knowledge of the Macau market and tourism industry is an advantage
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms
- Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
- Macau ID holder only
