Our client, a prestigious FMCG multinational corporation, is seeking a Finance Director to manage all financial operations, ensuring financial stability while supporting long-term strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Report to the General Manager

• Develop and implement strategies for growth, profitability, and sustainability.

• Oversee all financial operations, manage budgets, and establish internal controls to safeguard company assets.

• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, oversee audits, and identify potential financial risks.

• Lead the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and skill development.

• Direct annual budgeting and long-term financial planning, preparing forecasts and financial models.

• Produce accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports; analyze performance and KPIs for management review.

• Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships locally, and optimize capital structure.

• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to the General Manager and other department heads to support informed decision-making.

• Collaborate with external auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; a Master's degree (e.g., MBA) is strongly preferred.

• Fluency in written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and English.

• Professional certification such as CPA, CA, or CFA will be a PLUS.

• Over 10 years of progressive finance experience, including 5-7 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager) in China.

• Strong understanding of China's accounting systems.

• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and strategic financial management; FMCG background is highly desirable.

• Capacity to align business goals with financial strategies.

• Excellent decision-making and data analysis abilities.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders clearly.

• Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting, with advanced knowledge of accounting software and Excel.

• High ethical standards and reliability in handling confidential information.

• Willingness to travel regularly to nearby cities in Guangdong province.
