Job Description: • Responsible for achieving budget revenue of Corporate, Events and MICE segments • Attends major travel trade functions and promotional events to promote hotel services and facilities • Maintains close rapport with existing accounts and solicit new travel agents and wholesales business • Conducts site inspections • Maximises up-selling opportunities at all times • In conjunction with the Events Team to follow up with clients after events to solicit repeat or new business • Update Director of Sales and Assistant Director of Sales on a regular basis on the negotiation / event progress for each ad hoc / leisure group • Maintains an up to date group chart • Sits in and actively participates in regular sales meetings and implement actions relevant to sales • Execute sales policies and procedures of Hotel • Recommends contracted room rate for wholesales to ensure maximum revenue generation • Involves in coaching and training for new sales recruits • Ensures compliance with Delphi standards and ensure integrity of database • Assist Director of Sales Assistant Director of Sales to establish sales targets; sales coverage and accounts distribution and prepare monthly sales reports and forecast • Participates actively and shares accurate market intelligence and competition information with the Sales team on a regular basis • Builds positive working relationships with all departments of the Hotel; ensures understanding of Sales programs and the wants, needs and expectations of customers / guests • Maintains active communication with and builds team work with other departments e.g. Events, reservations, so as to achieve commitment to the overall sales objective of the hotel • Demonstrate co-operation and trust with colleagues, supervisors, teams and across departments to deliver positive results • Maintains positive communication and builds close rapport with Regional Sales • Offices and National Sales Offices to solicit wholesaler and HRC business Job Requirement: • Diploma in business management school • Minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar capacity • Strong understanding of Travel Trade including but not limited to the key accounts, key contacts, source markets and booking channels (both on and off line) • Very strong understanding of how these markets support the hotels business • Understands, communicates and supports corporate policies and guidelines • Proficient in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin • High level sales and leadership skills • Team player • Demonstrates enthusiasm, creativity, understanding & manages relationships with all stakeholders Interested parties, please apply via: • Email the detailed resume to careers@sjmresorts.com • Hotline 89820288 / 68827117
