Our client is the largest playing cards and board game manufacturer in the world, they are now seeking for a Product Support Engineer for their Macau office.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Lead Product Engineer to plan product deployments, ensuring all information is gathered for successful operation based on individual customer requirements.
Commission the product at customer sites and provide training, including the creation and updating of training materials.
Deliver preventative maintenance and warranty services, including troubleshooting and repairs both in the office and at customer locations.
Write detailed site visit reports following customer interactions and input relevant data into logs and customer records, documenting insights for potential product improvements.
Communicate effectively with sales partners, customers, and third parties to coordinate installations and address any issues that arise.
Work alongside product development and manufacturing teams to document and implement product and process improvements, diagnose performance issues, and recommend appropriate solutions.
Requirements:
Engineering Technology degree or equivalent training/experience.
Ability to ensure product success at dynamic customer sites from initial installation through troubleshooting and service.
Fluently in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Willingness to travel primarily within the APAC and EU.
Strong attention to detail with the capability to produce basic reports and technical documents.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team.
A working knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical engineering principles.
Familiarity with manufacturing and assembly principles related to PCBs and injection-molded plastics is a plus.
Advanced problem-solving skills for addressing complex issues and identifying root causes.
