Position Summary

• Design and optimize data warehouse schemas to support efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of large-scale datasets.
• Build and maintain data models tailored to various business units, ensuring alignment with operational needs and strategic goals.
• Develop and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from diverse sources into centralized systems.
• Establish and enforce data standards, including the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive data dictionary to promote consistency and understanding across teams.
• Build and document data lineage to track data flows, origins, and transformations, facilitating transparency and compliance.
• Implement data access management policies, including role-based access controls, to safeguard sensitive information while enabling authorized usage.
• Oversee data quality management initiatives, including monitoring, auditing, and remediation processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
• Lead data classification efforts to categorize data based on sensitivity, regulatory requirements, and business value, supporting risk management and privacy compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business intelligence, and compliance, to align data governance with organizational objectives.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in data governance to continuously improve our data ecosystem.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in data governance, data architecture, or a similar role, preferably in a large-scale hospitality, entertainment, or resort environment.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, manipulating, and analyzing data.
• Hands-on experience with columnar databases such as ClickHouse or similar.
• Familiarity with data cataloging and metadata management tools like DataHub or equivalents.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data processing tasks.
• Solid understanding of data modeling techniques, ETL frameworks, and data quality tools.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., PIPL, local Macau data protection laws) and best practices in data security.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a focus on collaboration and innovation.

• Background in the gaming or hospitality industry, with an understanding of customer data analytics.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Certification in data management (e.g., CDMP, DGSP) or related fields.
