Position Summary Database Administrator is responsible to maintain the performance, integrity and security of all databases systems and data platforms to provide stable environment for all applications in GEG. Perform Day-to-day monitoring and health check on all database systems. Primary Responsibility • Maintain a high availability database system and data platform by performance tuning, pro-active monitoring, bottleneck identifying and backup/restore method fine-tuning • Assist or undertake maintenance management on database servers and data platforms including evaluation of new releases and patches • Manage database security and audit access management • Provide technical advice on development, implementation and maintenance of database solutions that support business needs • Maintain data platforms and data integration between application systems and external entities • Performs on-call technical support and other duties as required • Other duties may be assigned as required Requirements • University degree Computer Science or equivalent. • Minimum of 1 years of experiences working in database administration • Different DBMS Certification of Profession is an advantage e.g. OCA, MCSA • Communication and Troubleshooting skills is required • Experiences in Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle and Clickhouse administration, Database Replication, Database HA, Data Migration and ETL process • Experience in writing T-SQL, PL/SQL, triggers, stored procedures and functions are required • Experience on data warehouse design and management is an advantage • Experience in maintain and implement in Kafka, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Power BI or other BI Tools is an advantage • Experience in application development is an advantage • Experience in casino and hotel management system is absolutely an advantage. • Willing to learn new technology and ability to learn individually
