Onsite System Engineer

Job Duties:

Install, configure and implement system infrastructure related projects;
Working closely with project manager, internal team, customers and vendors to deliver projects and support;
Responsible for setup, maintain and troubleshooting on IT hardware and software;
Evaluate latest technologies and products;
Supporting post-implementation activities including hot-line support, on-site maintenance and field service;
Liaise with vendors to provide technical support; and
Night emergency call support may be required.

Requirements:

Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or related disciplines;
At least 3-year solid field hardware support experience;
Solid experience on MS Windows Server and Windows 7 and 10 OS support;
SAN storage/backup solution knowledge and experience is an advantage;
Virtualization, Container, Cloud knowledge and experience is an advantage;
Strong hardware troubleshooting skill on DellEMC, HP, NetApp, and Huawei’s switch, server and storage;
Shall have DELLEMC and HP hardware support certificate and Huawei HCNA certificate;
Be proactive and able to answer enquiries responsively;
Good problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills;
Good communication and interpersonal skill with professional telephone manner; and Willing to learn, on job training and IT certification training will be provided
