System Engineer

Job Duties:

Plan, design, configuration and implement system infrastructure related projects;
Implementation of system projects by working closely with project manager, internal team, customers and vendors;
Performing project implementation of hardware and software, e.g. server, storage, backup software, HCI, hypervisor and appliances;
Perform system checking and implementation of programs for performance tuning, troubleshooting and maintenance;
Evaluate latest technologies and products;
Supporting post-implementation activities including hot-line support, on-site maintenance and field service;
Carry out integration tests and user acceptance tests to ensure the stability in production stage;
Provide user manuals and technical documents for the systems;
Liaise with vendors to provide technical support; and
Night emergency call support may be required.

Requirements:

Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or related disciplines;
At least 3-year infrastructure platform delivery and hands-on experience;
Sound Windows, Linux knowledge and skill is an advantage;
Familiar with Huawei, DELLEMC, and HP’s server, HCI and storage is an advantage;
Having Virtualization, Container, Cloud knowledge and experience is an advantage;
Be proactive and able to answer enquiries responsively;
Good problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills;
Good communication and interpersonal skill with professional telephone manner; and
Willing to learn, on job training and IT certification training will be provided

Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior System Engineer.
