Job Description:

• Provide strategic direction and oversight for the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise database systems and business solutions
• Lead the analysis of complex business requirements and translate them into robust, scalable technical architectures
• Develop and execute technology roadmaps; manage project portfolios and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of high-standards solutions
• Drive innovation through continuous evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies, tools, and best practices
• Establish and enforce standards for data quality, security, and compliance across enterprise platforms
• Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of analysts and engineers in designing and delivering enterprise database architectures and business solutions
• Set technical direction, establish best practices, and ensure adherence to architectural standards and operational excellence
• Oversee the design, automation, and optimization of data pipelines, systems integrations, and business intelligence platforms
• Collaborate with business and IT leadership to prioritize initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational strategy
• Manage vendor relationships, evaluate new technologies, and drive Proof-of-Concept (PoC) initiatives
• Ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance for all enterprise data assets and platforms
• Monitor and report on team performance, project status, and business impact to senior management
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and professional growth within the team
• Perform other tasks assigned by superiors


Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in database systems, programming, or enterprise solution architecture, including at least 2 years in a managerial role
• SQL certification (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle SQL)
• Certifications in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• DevOps and Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are an advantage
• Certifications related to solution architecture or programming (e.g., TOGAF, Python, or Java) are an advantage
• Deep expertise in SQL, database management systems, data warehousing, and ETL processes
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, distributed systems, and microservices architecture
• Solid knowledge of data security, compliance standards and risk management
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and ITIL methodologies
• Proven leadership, team-building, and people management skills
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable technology solutions
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; able to resolve complex technical and business challenges
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities; capable of influencing and presenting to senior leadership
• Demonstrated project management skills; adept at managing multiple priorities and driving results in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional presence and the ability to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability
• Fluent in spoken and written Cantonese, Mandarin & English, with strong English writing skill is a plus
