Position Summary Senior Analyst provides high quality and timely functional and technical support on gaming and marketing systems. Person in this job function proactively and reactively research, analyze, and resolve functional and technical problems in a timely manner. He/she will work closely with the IS&T support teams and vendors to ensure smooth operation and integration of the various systems. The position requires an experienced and motivated individual with the ability to utilize their talents, skills, and abilities in a coordinated and consistent team effort. Primary Responsibility - Participate in problem diagnostics, root cause analysis, and solution development in gaming and marketing systems - Support the gaming and marketing solution and operation teams to achieve quality and timely deliverables - Communicate effectively with system vendors, service staff and users - Provide stable systems environment for gaming and marketing systems by identifying and rectifying potential concerns and be able to provide quick and accurate problem diagnostics - Participate in business meetings to follow up issues or requests raised by business units - Monitor gaming and marketing systems to detect deficiencies and provide support - Ensure effective on-going support for nominated gaming and marketing systems for business continuity - Respond to service requests in a timely and effective manner, with the need to be on call for ad hoc shift duties - Follow IS&T practices and procedures for technical troubleshooting - Ensure maximum up-time and performance of nominated gaming and marketing systems to maintain user confidence - Ensure policies and procedures are documented for systems and support functions - Perform system test to ensure quality products are delivered and meet customers' expectation - Mentor junior staff members in efforts to improve their skill sets and domain knowledge Requirements - Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related area of study - 3-5 years of relevant Casino industry experience, in a system support capacity - Working experience on supporting PMS/POS/ERP systems is highly preferred - Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Good working knowledge of IT in operating system administration, network, database, and software application installation and configuration - Good working knowledge of the processes and procedures that will be in use and how these relate to the operation of IT Systems - Good sense of business functional processes and able to communicate with business users effectively - Good analytical skills and ability to handle tasks under tight time frame - Good communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to establish strong working relationships at all levels with internal and external parties - Dynamic, outgoing personality with excellent communication and negotiation skills - Ability to prioritize project tasks and resolve conflicts Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin), both oral and written
