Our client is a global leader in air cargo handling and aviation ground services. To support its operations in Macau, the company is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee its financial accounting, reporting and control functions.

Responsibilities:
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance monitoring, including analysis of operating and capital expenditure, cash flow and working capital.
• Oversee accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, billing, collections, fixed assets and bank reconciliations.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements, management reports and group reporting submissions.
• Maintain accounting policies, internal controls, treasury and procurement procedures, and delegation-of-authority frameworks in line with Macau requirements and group policies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, Macau tax and statutory filing requirements, audit requirements and relevant financial regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisers, banks and the group finance team on accounting, tax, treasury and reporting matters.
• Provide financial analysis and management information to support business decisions, identify financial risks and cost optimisation opportunities, and drive process improvements.
• Lead and develop the Finance team, ensuring appropriate financial competencies, segregation of duties and adherence to internal controls.

Requirements
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; CPA, ACCA, CA or an equivalent professional qualification is strongly preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in financial accounting, financial control, audit or financial management, including 2–4 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, statutory accounts, budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance and internal controls.
• Good knowledge of Macau accounting, taxation and statutory reporting requirements. Experience reporting to regional or international headquarters is an advantage.
• Experience in aviation, airport ground handling, logistics or service operations is an advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting systems, particularly SAP, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and commercial judgement, integrity, attention to detail and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
