Senior Manager – Social Management

JOB SUMMARY & AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY

Sr. Manager - Social Management is responsible for developing Xiaohongshu platform operation & strategy for supporting the company's business growth. The candidate has to develop the holistic strategy including content creation, influencer planning /buying, paid-search and boosting ad, IP cooperation based on the attributes of XHS platforms, and eventually drive awareness, engagement and business sales. The candidate will work closely with outside agencies, respective marketing services and operations teams, including IRS, Hotel, F&B, Retail, Entertainment, etc
 


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and execute content strategies to attract and retain users, ensuring alignment with brand values and platform trends.
  • Plan and schedule content calendars, including posts, videos, and interactive campaigns.

Influencer Management
  • Identify and negotiate with KOLs/KOCs across various industries and platforms to amplify content reach and social engagement.
  • Foster a positive and engaging community environment by moderating user interactions, addressing feedback, and resolving issues promptly.

Data Analysis & Optimization
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as user growth, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, then implement optimization strategies.

Cross-Platform Innovation
  • Explore and leverage emerging features and tools on Xiaohongshu to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with influencers and platform partners to identify valuable resources for creating innovative social campaign.

Leadership & Team Management:
  • Lead and mentor a team of content creators and community managers, providing guidance and support.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-centricity within the team.

Presentation & Communication:
  • Present quarterly/monthly updates, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Develop compelling presentations and reports to communicate the project’s value and impact.


QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communication, Marketing, or a related field; Master degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in social platform/digital marketing, especially in mainland China, and understand Mainland ‘s digital eco-system.
  • Proven track record of planning and managing successful social marketing in a multi-business environment.
  • Proficiency in cross-platform social influencer collaboration including resource sharing, content innovation with new tech, live streaming and ground push activities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
