Our client is a well-established property development group. They are seeking a Project Director to join them.
Responsibilities
Provide visionary leadership and guidance to the project team to ensure successful execution of projects.
Supervise the creation of project plans, financial forecasts, and timelines to align with organizational goals.
Coordinate the efforts of architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to project specifications.
Perform regular site inspections to assess progress, pinpoint potential challenges, and implement necessary corrective measures.
Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including government entities, contractors, and suppliers.
Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, including contingency plans.
Ensure that all project outcomes meet established quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Professional certification such as chartered membership of HKIE (Building), CIOB, HKICM, or equivalent.
At least 15 years of project management experience, particularly in real estate development or construction, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
Demonstrated experience managing projects from a developer's perspective is highly preferred.
Background in planning, scheduling, executing, and overseeing large-scale projects both locally and internationally.
Proven success in delivering large-scale projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality expectations.
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying and addressing project risks.
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable in Macau.
Proficient in both English and Chinese, with strong written and verbal skills.
Must hold a Macau ID.
