Responsibilities

• Audit financial statements and group reporting packages in various GAAPs, including HKFRS, IFRS, and other accounting standards.

• Participate in assurance engagements such as review engagements, agreed-upon-procedure engagements, and reporting accountant roles for initial public offerings.

• Supervise the engagement field team, including conducting performance reviews and providing on-site training.

• Serve as the audit in-charge for larger clients, leading briefings and guiding the team to deliver successful audits.

• Maintain regular communication with the line manager, partner, and clients regarding engagement progress and any issues that arise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.

• 5 years or above of audit experience with a major accounting firm; Big 4 background preferred.

• CPA qualification is required.

• Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

• Experience across various industry sectors is welcomed.

• Strong technical skills with the ability to research accounting issues across multiple GAAPs.

• Strong business acumen and the ability to identify audit issues arising from commercial transactions.

• A team player with the ability to multi-task, adapt, and work under pressure.

• Socially confident with strong diplomacy and organizational skills.
