POSITION SUMMARY: Assist Senior Manager in brand sourcing, research and liaison; planning itinerary and visits; monitoring and keep timely and accurate updates on database, matrix, preparing F&B award reportings and newsletter; provide business insight on competitors and all industry related news, trends and expos worldwide. Also support in project planning if need. This role requires a keen understanding and passion in F&B industry, strong analytical and database skills, and the ability to work independently and take initiations to complete, improve and update job tasks on a regular basis. Excellent time management and organization skills, especially the ability to prioritize and multitask. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Brand Research '- Conduct thorough, ongoing research and profiling on F&B brands, trends etc. - Analyze competitors and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and innovation; brands proposals / cuisines for the company - Compile insights into summarized reports that helps in project planning and strategies - Collect data and analyse competitors and market trends for management to determine brand mix and new brand development for the company. Itinerary Planning - Market Research - Feedback regarding new food experiences, brand studies and recommendations, fostering a sense of connection to support travels and trips itinerary compiling for industry events, trade shows for senior leader/s - Manage logistics, bookings etc. - Market research via restaurant openings, culinary events, documenting experiences and sharing insights related to new concepts / trends - Database and Reporting - Manage centralize database and filing, on a timely and accurate manner - enhance to achieve database efficiency periodically - Create and distribute monthly newsletter that shares industry insights, new openings, trends and competitor updates - Monitor very closely and accurately on prominent F&B Awards to compile immediate reporting to senior leaders - Gather feedback regularly to improve newsletter content and engagement REQUIREMENTS: Background / Education - University graduate or above; culinary arts hospitality or related field; advantageous if from creative/design/art & culture/marketing background or F&B focused foodie/KOL equivalent experience - 3-5 years in managerial level especially in Retail Malls or F&B /Hospitality industry & networks Skills - Interpersonal - Well presentable, good communication and interpersonal skills and outward going (a people's person) is a plus - Strong research capabilities with a constant curious mind - Works independently - mature, self-motivated, committed, persistent, detail-oriented and well-organized - Strong sense of integrity, urgency, high confidentiality, and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines - Be willing to perform ad-hoc tasks assigned; occasional research trips and travels when required. - Highly eloquent and fluent in spoken and written Mandarin / Cantonese and English Skills - tech-savvy - Excellent writing and storytelling abilities; proficient in social media abilities to engage and present - Proficient in Microsoft applications; bonus if with ADOBE or related softwares
