Our client is an Architectural Firm. They are now looking for a Resident Architect to join them.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Project Team on matters pertaining to government procedures, standards, and statutory requirements.

• Liaise and coordinate with the contractor, project team, and consultants regarding architectural details, materials, workmanship, construction requirements, regulatory compliance, and site progress.

• Assist the Project Architect in resolving any queries raised by the Contractor during construction.

• Help the Project Architect team address site problems and conflicts among various trades related to architectural aspects and the overall construction process.

• Monitor the contractor's performance and aid the Project Architect team in preparing performance reports.

• Attend site meetings and coordination sessions.

• Prepare monthly progress reports.

• Contribute to the review and coordination of architectural variation works.

• Inspect and witness site tests as needed.

• Participate in weekly safety walkthroughs.

• Conduct spot checks on high-risk construction activities.

• Undertake any other duties as requested by the Project Team Leader and Project Architect.

• Perform any other relevant tasks assigned by senior staff or the project director to meet project requirements.

Requirements

• Registered Macau Architect or equivalent.

• Macau citizenship is mandatory.

• Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience.
