Our client is a Five-Star Hotel, they are now seeking an Assistant Director of Engineering to join them.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Engineering in leading a team of engineers and technicians in maintaining and enhancing the hotel's facilities, overall engineering operations and infrastructure.

• Oversee the smooth operation of the hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, implementing preventive maintenance programs and energy-saving initiatives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support their operational needs and ensure guest satisfaction.

• Manage capital projects and renovations, coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure successful completion.

• Maintain compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory standards.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements, and drive innovation within the engineering team.

• Provide guidance and training to the engineering team, helping them develop their skills and reach their full potential.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Proven experience in engineering management, preferably in the hospitality industry.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental best practices.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the agility to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
