Position Summary

Senior Graphic Designer responsible for developing advertising and collated material artwork for the marketing campaigns of GEG including GM and SW


Primary Responsibility

• Manage graphic design and graphic artist team to ensure timely delivery of all creative projects
• Provide guidance for graphic design and art team coaching them on design techniques, artwork development guidelines and ensuring artwork files are technically built to print/production ready specifications
• Reviewing graphic design and graphic art work to ensure all concepts/artwork are in line with the brand guidelines for each product
• Setting artwork development standards and guidelines for graphic art team to follow
• Participate in join briefing sessions for kickoff of marketing campaigns or specific material request
• Follow approved brief direction to develop high quality creative concept design for all marketing materials including advertising, leaflets and brochures, bonus if can also handle digital and multimedia display
• Develop multiple design projects at one time, working closely with Graphic Designer, Graphic Artists, Traffic and Production to ensure designs are within budget, on strategy and reflect brand's personality
• Review all artwork to ensure any campaign adaptation work is both aligned to campaign creative concepts as well as aligned with corresponding product brand guidelines
• Ensure all artwork produced is technically correct resulting in high-quality, print-ready files
• Direct & supervise graphic artists in preparation of artwork files
• Work closely with Graphic Artist to mentor & Develop their skills
• Review final designs and suggest improvement as needed
• Monitor projects though all phases of production
• Maintain artwork standards and elements in line with each product's brand guidelines and is consistent with messaging for all communication materials
• Quality check all artwork prior to submitting for final marketing and business unit review

• Degree holder in graphic design or related disciplines
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite applications, Illustrator, Photoshop, Freehand, InDesign
• Solid understanding of all production/printer-industry technical requirements required
• Ability to work with both PC and Mac environments
• Minimum 3 years graphic design and artwork experience
• Understanding and familiarity with Chinese market
• Preferred Cantonese and Mandarin spoken and written proficient and basic English spoken and writing skills
