Position Summary To manage and deliver end to end recruitment activities in an effective, efficient and professional manner. Assist the VP & SM’s with professional support and recommendation in planning, executing, monitoring and constantly improving the recruitment functions. Primary Responsibilities • Liaise with hiring manager to identify recruitment needs, and closely monitor the recruitment and selection process. Ensure that hiring is consistent with the business goals. • Assist in planning and executing and recruitment strategies • Source suitable candidates through advertising, networking, social media and fully brief them on the opportunities within GEG • Manage candidates through the recruitment process, providing advice and assistance to review progress and performance • Provide regular updates to hiring managers and management on recruitment status. • Negotiate salary and terms with selected candidates • Complete background checks, take up references and verify employment histories for selected candidates • Ensure the company recruitment policies and procedures are fully complied with at all times. • Implement all Human Resources and Administration policies and procedures to ensure that the Company complies with legal requirement and operates effectively. • Participate in local and international recruitment drives. • Keep up to date with current employment legislation and ensuring that line managers are effectively briefed on any relevant changes. • Assist VP & SM’s in ad-hoc tasks assignments as and when required. Requirements • University graduate preferably in HR or Business Administration • At least 7 years of relevant experience, and 5 years in a managerial or team leader position. • Experience in the full recruitment and selection life cycle • Knowledge of local labour laws and regulations. • Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills • Strong strategic thinking, consultative and problem solving skills • Tenacious and hard working • Able to work on own initiative with limited supervision • Team player • Results orientated • Knowledge of computerized information systems used in HR applications.
