Executive Manager - Transportation

 POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the effective management of limousine fleet for Galaxy Macau ensuring a safe, smooth and efficient experience while keeping cost in check. The purposes of the position are to establish and provide a high quality limousine services and vehicle dispatch centre to cater various needs of the high end clientele and guests.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Performance Indicators:
- Develop operations systems by determining service handling and limousine requirements, develop, implement, enforce and evaluate policies and procedures
- Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives for Elite Services
- Analyze process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout / implement changes / Monitoring on use of vehicle and maintenance on cost perspectives
- Forecast requirements / prepare an annual budget / schedule expenditures / analyze variances / initiating corrective actions;
- To identify potential challenge and come up with recommendation in the volatile transportation and driver labor market

Resources Management:
- Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel and discipline with Limousine Team Members
- Prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards, resolve problems, complete audits & identify trends
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures and comply with legal regulations
- Work closely with the HR & Financial team to perform analysis of our operational cost and ensure we are utilizing our fleet effectively, purchasing the right vehicles, maintaining solid data and reduce wastage expenses
- Leadership: Knowledge of and ability to employ effective strategies that motivate and guide other members within our business to achieve optimum results
- Plan and review compensation actions / enforcing policies and procedures

Operations:
- Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations
- Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints
- Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed
- All record keeping and reporting required by Government Agencies, alongside with Licensing and Legal Department
- Attend meetings when required with internal and external parties
- Work closely with management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures and systems and to follow through with implementation
- To be involved in strategic planning and expansion development to ensure continual operational support for business growth
- Prepares efficient work schedules for Limousine team, arranging holidays and vacations, taking into consideration projected occupancy and forecasts and any large group movements, especially those with early or late arrivals or departures
- Ensures that all Limousine team members are neat, clean and punctual at all times and that they perform their tasks promptly and efficiently
- Adhering to all security and maintenance procedures and practices including reporting unusual or suspicious incidents, hazards or people, complaints and missing or damaged items in a timely and accurate manner
- Evaluates team members and carries out performance appraisal as required
- To participate in data analysis, record keeping and reporting required by the government and the management
- Performs related duties and special project as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

- 5 years or above in hospitality, land transport or logistics industry, preferably in operations of limousine or hired car section
- Sound management experience for team size over 100 staff
- Knowledge of transport and logistics solutions that meet the demands of a five-star casino and hotel
- Tertiary educated, with studies in transport or logistics preferred
- Skills Preferred / Competence (Data Entry / Data Processing / Dependable / Strong Organizational / Time Management / Budget Development / Communication / Critical Thinking & Problem Solving / Planning & Organizing);
- Leadership and displays a high commitment to improving customer service
- Motivates others to achieve business objectives and common goals
- Able to handle stress
- Assumes other duties assigned by Management as required
