Position Summary The Event Planning and Activation Assistant Manager’s prime responsibility is to develop strategic partnerships, maintain partners’ relationships and develop various marketing alliances/campaigns, partnerships collaborations and activation campaigns etc. to ensure that the Company will have a competitive edge amongst its competitors in terms of the benefits and amenities that is offered to GEG guests and customers. Primary Responsibility • Develop relationship with strategic partners, build up network for potential event/activation/partnership campaign ideas. • Manage in-house and external strategic partners relationship include airlines, banks, car brands, shopping mall, associations etc. • Assist on developing program and initiatives to maintain a competitive edge amongst the Company’s competitors. • Work closely with outside vendors and strategic partners in developing activation campaigns/resort events. • Continually monitor, evaluate and analyze the success of the campaigns against similar campaigns within the market to maintain the Company’s competitive edge. • Assist to develop innovative concepts for events and activation campaigns that align with the resort's brand and appeal to target audiences. • Responsible for event/campaign’s coordination and execution, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. • Continuously seek out new trends in partnership collaboration and event management to keep the resort at the forefront of the industry. • Maintain effective communication with all internal and external stakeholders involved, ensuring expectations are clear and feedback is acted upon. • Be able to understand the financial impact of various programs in order to achieve the best ROI for the Company. • Be able to think out of the box and bring new ideas when developing event/activation/partnership campaign. • Be able to deliver assigned tasks in a timely matter and raise execution concerns to Management. • Be able to understand and work with the needs and wants from different business units under the Company’s management direction. • Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by management. Requirements • 3+ years experience in marketing / partnerships / event planning & management is preferred • Experience in dealing with strategic partnerships, brands, vendors • Strong interpersonal, negotiation & communication skills • Detail minded and multi-task skills • Proficiency in Chinese, English is a must • Be able to work any shift as required by the needs of the business • Independent and self-motivated individual • Strong interpersonal & communication skills • Education in Event Planning and Marketing or related field preferred
