Procurement Manager (Jeju Korea based)

Our client is a fully integrated resort. They are now seeking for a Procurement Manager to join them.

Responsibilities:

  • Create daily, weekly, and monthly purchasing plans with a focus on cost control, budget management, and the identification of domestic and overseas vendors.

  • Formulate effective strategies for the procurement of materials used in the business, ensuring cost-effectiveness and establishing benchmarks for improvement.

  • Oversee a purchasing team, assigning tasks to different departments as needed.

  • Evaluate procurement operations to identify areas for improvement, aiming to enhance both the quality of purchased products and the timeliness of deliveries.

  • Cultivate and sustain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers, fostering strong partnerships based on trust and mutual benefit.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field of study.

  • Have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in managing supply chain operations, preferably with proven experience in the hospitality industry or gaming operations.

  • Demonstrate strong multitasking and time management abilities, with a skill for prioritizing tasks effectively.

  • Display a high level of organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration with management, employees, and other relevant parties.

  • Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in either Chinese or Korean as a secondary language.
