Our client is a leading automotive group. They are now seeking an Accountant for their business extension.
Responsibilities:
Familiarize oneself with inventory book-in procedures for vehicles and parts, trade-related purchases, service receipts, requisitions, disposal of fixed asset, and business unit expense.
Review purchase ledgers, sales ledgers, normal ledger journals, and payment applications for at least 5 cost centers, ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal procedures, and Level of Authority (LoA).
Generate error-free internal management reports, analyze financial information, and summarize the financial status.
Prepare financial statements and create budgets/forecasts according to the schedule.
Assist with external and internal audits, as well as tax returns, to ensure compliance.
Provide suggestions to enhance efficiency and optimize spending.
Evaluate and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
Support the preparation of statutory accounts and manage other ad hoc projects.
Requirements:
Hold a degree in Accountancy.
Qualified Accountant certification is advantageous.
Possess a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, with experience in supervising a small team being a plus.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously within deadline-driven environments.
Expected to collaborate closely with functional leaders within the company.
Capable of working independently and as part of a team, taking ownership of work products with minimal upfront guidance.
Organized, accurate, and detail-oriented.
Highly proficient in MS Excel, Chinese typing, and preferably experienced in Hyperion.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
