Sommelier and Restaurant Manager - Luxury Boutique Hotel

Our client is a luxury boutique hotel located in Macau, they are now seeking for a Sommelier and Restaurant Manager for their business expansion.

 


Responsibilities:

  • Curate and maintain an extensive wine list, providing expert recommendations and guidance to guests on wine pairings and selections.

  • Conduct wine tastings and educational sessions for staff and guests to enhance their wine knowledge and appreciation.

  • Manage overall restaurant operations, ensuring smooth functioning, exceptional customer service, and high-quality dining experiences.

  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create wine pairing menus and elevate the overall dining experience.

  • Oversee staff training and development, maintain financial performance, handle customer inquiries and complaints, and uphold cleanliness and safety standards.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Sommelier and Restaurant Manager in a reputable establishment.

  • Excellent command of Cantonese and English languages for effective communication with guests.

  • Strong knowledge and passion for wines, including conducting tastings and providing recommendations.

  • Leadership and management skills, with the ability to collaborate with culinary teams and train staff.
