Our client is a luxury boutique hotel located in Macau, they are now seeking for a Sommelier and Restaurant Manager for their business expansion.
Responsibilities:
Curate and maintain an extensive wine list, providing expert recommendations and guidance to guests on wine pairings and selections.
Conduct wine tastings and educational sessions for staff and guests to enhance their wine knowledge and appreciation.
Manage overall restaurant operations, ensuring smooth functioning, exceptional customer service, and high-quality dining experiences.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create wine pairing menus and elevate the overall dining experience.
Oversee staff training and development, maintain financial performance, handle customer inquiries and complaints, and uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Sommelier and Restaurant Manager in a reputable establishment.
Excellent command of Cantonese and English languages for effective communication with guests.
Strong knowledge and passion for wines, including conducting tastings and providing recommendations.
Leadership and management skills, with the ability to collaborate with culinary teams and train staff.
