POSITION SUMMARY: • Manager - Content development is responsible for all the China social media content. This position should understand China social media, China insights, China consumer’s behavior, China culture, China hot topics and capability to create cut through content that penetrate our brand into China market. • This position is to bring our brand and product through social media content to the Chinese consumers. The content development manager will create the talking points of our brands and translate into social media language with China insights and consumer needs. This position needs to create content that leverage on China hot topics with fast pace to meet the social media climate. He/She is the core person to lead the content development strategy, process and execution in the Social media team. • This position will work closely with respective marketing services to develop social media content to drive brand awareness, customer engagement and business conversions for the company. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lead and execute social media content for all the China social media platforms in the company. • Create the social media content (copy, photo, video) for our social media channels that cut through the Chinese consumers. • Drive awareness, engagement and conversions through these social media contents of our brands and products. • Execute the social media content development with other marketing team to deliver the excellence of the program. • Keep up-to-date China social media trends and insights for identify the best social media content development for the company. • Maintain positive and seamless business relationships with business units as well as external vendors. • Monitor competitors' and regional hospitality social media content for benchmarking, learnings and implications. • Inspire the social media team towards outstanding performance through promoting best practices, keeping up to date with developments in China social media trends, spotting opportunities and assessing impact on our brands. REQUIREMENTS: • 4+ years of experience in Social Media Marketing, preferred in Mainland China. • Strong understanding to China social media platforms and KOL • Rich experience in social media content development, KOL marketing and social media operations in Mainland China. • Expert in understanding the China social media trends, insights and approaches to capture hot topics • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with ability to collaborate cross-functionally • Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking and organizational skills as well as independent delivery capability • Proven ability to motivate team and work efficiently • Outstanding Chinese and English communication skills, both written and spoken • Must be bi-lingual in Mandarin and English, while Cantonese is strongly preferred • A good team player and team leader with excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management and negotiation skills • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Operations Management or any related business degree. Master’s degree holder preferred
