Position Summary
Reporting to the PM - Commercial Support, the APM is to provide assistance with producing reports for departmental expenditure; for Project Development this includes OPEX (in detail) and CAPEX (high level summary). The monthly financial reports are vital to illustrate the financial position of the department's expenditure (OPEX and CAPEX) against budget forecasts and feeds into the overall GEG Financial reports, e.g. Monthly Sub-committee Finance report and quarterly Board reports.

Primary Responsibility

• Preparation of Monthly Departmental expenditure report including but not limited to CAPEX, OPEX and complimentary expenditure summary
• Liaise with Finance department for the updating of the department's monthly financial statement (CAPEX and OPEX)
• Lead coordination between Finance Department and Project Development Project Leads for the preparation of monthly Finance Subcommittee (PPT) report
• Act as focal contact point between Finance Department and Project Development to provide accrual for construction cost, prepare Fixed Asset report (for completed phases) and provide Retention update
• Preparation and implementation of annual budget focusing, departmental OPEX and staff headcount

• Bachelor degree holder in the fields of hotel administration/ finance/ accounting or business administration (preferred); relevant work experience will be considered
• Minimum 5 years of progressive work experience in analytical field
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in spoken and written Chinese and English
• Proficient in MS Office applications, in particular MS Excel
• Knowledge and working use of SAP preferred
