POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Senior Manager - Network Engineering, the Manager – Facility Management is a leadership role with managerial responsibility, possess strong technical understanding of data center operation and infrastructure consists of network, server and telecom equipment. The Manager will plan, organize and manage a team of data center operators to develop, maintain, support and optimize key functional areas to support the company's IS&T infrastructure, deep dive into any given function as needed to develop, coordinate and lead data center infrastructure projects. This candidate must have extensive experiences in data center facility development and management, including security management, power supply systems, CRAC/HVAC systems, moisture detection systems, fire suppression and detection systems. Excellent knowledge and understanding of industry standards including Uptime tiering, TIA-942, TIA/EIA-568, ISO9001/14000, MICR, ITIL compliance, responsiveness to various audits, has strong problem solving and change management skills to manage crisis situations and work under pressure. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead and manage a team of direct reports to support day-to-day operations - Manage all data centers, IS&T closet rooms and remote sites - Manage disaster recovery (DR) drills in accordance with the DR Plan - Coordinate with support teams on planning, installing, maintaining and decommissioning of infrastructure equipment - Manage all operations of data center facilities, including facility provision, monitoring, reporting and communication, administration of tape backup and storage quota across all properties - Coordinate support resources and partnership with mechanical and electrical facility management, surveillance, security teams and vendor management - Develop monitoring roadmap on IS&T system availability and performance, create metrics and monitoring, support SLA reporting - Responsible for strategies and capacity planning, design proposals, budget, project management and implementation - Drive continuous improvement of operations, access control of data center facilities - Provide emergency support for data center facilities, disaster recovery planning and strategy for business continuity - Manage the safety, security, availability, quality and performance of data centers facilities including security management, power supply systems, CRAC/HVAC systems, moisture detection systems, fire suppression and detection systems - Manage access control on data centers, IS&T closets and all IS&T premises across GEG properties - Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance and compliance with the organization’s policies and procedures - Performance management with individuals and team REQUIREMENTS: - University degree in computer science or equivalent work experience - 5 years experience managing a large 24/7 data center environment - 3 years supervisory or management experiences - Project management, capacity planning and budgetary experience - Hands-on experience on system monitoring tools will be a definite advantage - Safety and security skills, extensive experience in designing and maintaining data center facilities, including security management, power supply systems, CRAC/HVAC systems, moisture detection systems, fire suppression and detection systems - Good knowledge and understanding on TIA-942 and TIA/EIA-568, ISO9001/14000, MICR - Knowledge of ITIL change management process - Good technical knowledge on HP, IBM, Huawei server equipment and networking - Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Visio, construction blue prints and architectural drawings - Good communication and presentation skills in English - CDCP/CISSP/NISP preferred - Able to work independently and work under pressure
