POSITION SUMMARY • Manages a sales team across targeted international market in wholesale channels. • To build strong industry relationships & achieve agreed room targets including Leisure Groups • Promote and maintain the reputation of the hotel brand(s) in a manner agreed with the head of brands marketing. • Demonstrate an insightful appreciation and understanding of the consumer and key stakeholders in order to influence opinion and shape behavior. • Deliver a number of innovative sales events that place Galaxy Macau in a leading position as ‘the best luxury destination resort’ in Macau. • Partner with all operating divisions to attain maximum leverage from the integrated resort concept in driving interest in the destination PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES • Execution of strategic plans agreed with AVP - Customer Development (Wholesale) • Develop a rolling 12 month sales plan that delivers on growth opportunities and mitigates risk; • Develop strong partnerships and commercial plans with offline travel agent to achieve mutual growth objectives across sales target international market; • Achieve agreed sales / KPI, profit, market share and other predetermined targets; • Design and implement the leisure sales strategy and list of products • Develop processes and initiatives that ensure integration and alignment between Marketing plans and the Sales teams customers plans; • Lead sales resources to deliver agreed customer service standards; • Manage, coach and develop direct reports; • Build dialogue with marketing around customer and consumer needs; • Communicate plans and strategies across leadership team; • Initiating and planning sales campaigns: defining goals; analyzing problems and opportunities; liaising with management and customers; • Creating branded events to maintain brand identity, awareness and reputation; • Speaking in public at industry presentations and meetings; • Ensure alignment with brand strategy and work closely with marketing organization. • Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS • Strong sales skills (hotel sales knowledge); needs analysis, positioning, business case justification, closing. • Self starter use to working in startup environment with minimal direction. • Excellent presentation skills. • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong management skills with ability to coordinate teams in diverse locations. • Proven track record with minimum 10 years hotel selling (with international wholesale) experience. • Ability to work independently on complex problems. • Willingness to travel when required. • Experience in strategic planning and execution. • Proficient in Mandarin, Cantonese and English. • Ability to motivate a team to deliver quality output and simultaneously manage several projects. • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and deliver in full on time.
